History

During the 14 years of Civil War that broke out in Liberia, West Africa from December 24th,1989-2003  and spilled in to the neighboring countries of Guinea, Sierra Leone and the Ivory Coast, the Lord spoke to Pastor Claudius Deah, Sr. To start up a discipleship ministry that would cater to the spiritual and physical needs of the people. The war resulted in the death of over 300,000 people according to UN records..

 

In 1993, the Ministry was established in principle but lunched in January 2001 in Paynesville, Liberia, West Africa. Mission Bethel Ministries International is soul winning, discipleship and church [planting ministry that is present planting churches in 5 five West African countries of Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone. Mission Bethel has 54 churches and fellowships.

 

 Soon after in 2016, another 10,000 people were killed by the spread of the Ebola virus. In all these tragedies, the Mission Bethel Ministries International has endeavored to help and share the love of Jesus to people in those countries by distributing clothing, small food stuffs contributed by our churches in the region giving them hope.
